The present book, second in the series, gives a comprehensive understanding of good health and the ways and means envisioned and devised by the ancient ones for achieving it. The first section gives a lucid description of what constitutes good health, including many aspects that are often neglected. The second section, Hatha Yoga, deals with exercises for flexibility (covering all the joints of the body); classical yoga asanas and variations; twelve bandhas and mudras, and the shat-kriyas (cleansing teachniques). The concise and explicit chapter on pranayama covers every aspect of this important practice. In the section on kundalini the different aspects of this mysterious power are described in simple language. Sections on swara yoga and brahmacharya follow, and the book concludes with a chapter on concentration, meditation and Samadhi.
